Infrastructure and engineering asset management has developed into a nationally and internationally recognised field as a result of the ground-breaking research and development undertaken by CIEAM.

The 14th Asia Pacific Vibration Conference (APVC 2011)

The APVC is an international refereed conference held once every two years with the presentation and publication of outputs of research and development activities in aspects of: dynamic control, sound and vibration, condition monitoring, damping, and response to earthquake ground motions, as well as other aspects of dynamic response for both mechanical and structural engineering systems.
CIEAM’s CEO, Professor Joe Mathew will be coordinating a Symposium on Engineering Asset Management for this year’s event.

Annual CIEAM Conference
Each year, CIEAM conducts a three day intensive exhibition of recent research and industry achievements. Held on 2-4 November,2011, at the stylish Sheraton Noosa Resort, the conference offerred a rare insight into leading edge developments in the sphere of infrastructure and engineering asset management.
Featuring a showcase of CIEAM’s innovative solutions and culminating in an open discussion about research and development for public benefit, as part of the annual Australian Asset Management Collaborative Group (AAMCoG) forum, the three day event provided the opportunity too network with peers and industry advisors.
The 2012 CIEAM conference will be held in September at a venue to be advised.
World Congress 2011
The Sixth World Congress on Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM) was held in Cincinnati, Ohio, 2-5 October, 2011. Hosted by the Centre for Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS), the congress was held in conjunction with the National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Centre for Intelligent Maintenance Systems’ 10th Anniversary and 22nd Industrial Advisory Board Meeting.
The seventh world congress on engineering asset management, WCEAM 2012, will be held in conjunction with the Korea Engineering Asset Management Association at the Daejeon city convention centre in Korea. For details, contact Kyung-ho Jang, Program Coordinator, Korean Standards Association.
