Professional Skills Training Courses in Integrated Asset Management

CIEAM's Professional Skills Training suite is designed to provide individual organisations with comprehensive industry-specific training on integrated asset management. The suite consists of a total of 12 modules in all, representing the functions of an Integrated Asset Management structure or framework. The modules on offer are:

This training is available in both in-house and public course formats.

In-house training

CIEAM's Professional Skills Training suite is available for delivery as customised in-house training on 2 main levels.

The Understanding Integrated Engineering Asset Management course is designed specifically as a decision-making introduction to the implementation of organisation-wide comprehensive training on Integrated Engineering Asset Management. The 5-day professional skills training programme is for senior delegates from state and local government, research institutions and professional and corporate organisations.

The Total Integrated Engineering Asset Management course is for general delegates in government, research, professional and corporate organisations and are intended as a follow-on from Understanding Integrated Engineering Asset Management. This course is delivered as a series of 3-day programmes each focussing on a specific module of CIEAM's 12-module suite, as prioritised by the specific organisation.

Public course programme

From November 2006, CIEAM will be offering a series of public courses delivered around Australian in the form of 1-day workshops. The series will provide a general overview of all 12 modules from the CIEAM Professional Skills Training suite and consists of 5 steps:

1. Introductory Overview of Integrated Asset Management (IAM)
2. Risk Based Decision Making in IAM
3. Data Management in IAM
4. Operational Tactical Planning and Modelling in IAM
5. Financial Management, Costing and Budgeting and Performance Measures in IAM
