CIEAM training workshops

CIEAM provides skills training for industry professionals and technical staff. As a cooperative research, education and training organisation CIEAM provides two or three day workshops in Asset Management for industry professionals and technical staff.

CIEAM’s training courses are delivered by two distinguished experts: Dr Nick Hastings from Albany Interactive Pty Ltd and Dr Rudolph Frederick Stapelberg from The Academy for Professional Education and Training, both are spin-off companies of CIEAM.

Nick Hastings

Dr Nick Hastings FIEAust

Nick Hastings is formerly MIM Professor of Maintenance Engineering at Queensland University of Technology (1994-2001). He has consultancy and educational experience in reliability and maintenance in mining, electricity transmission and generation, defence and manufacturing industries. He is the author of the book ‘Physical Asset Management’ (ISBN 978-1-84882-750-9) published by Springer in 2009.

In 2006 Nick was awarded the Maintenance Engineering Society of Australia medal for contributions to the fields of reliability, maintenance and asset management.

Nick’s qualifications: B.A., M.A. in Engineering, University of Cambridge, Ph. D. in Engineering Production, University of Birmingham(UK) and F.I.E.Aust. (Membership No: 1093878) The training courses Nick offers are:

Fred Stapelberg has close on three decades of consulting experience, and has delivered training courses for more than two decades to a very wide range of organisations including international corporations such as Alcoa, Anglo American, BP, BHP Biliton, Caltex, Escom, Rio Tinto (CRA), Sasol, Shell, WMC and more. Fred is the main architect of the EAM Body of Knowledge CEAIM has developed.
