Prof Joe Mathew
Chief Executive Officer
Prof Mathew was previously Head of QUT's School of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Medical Engineering, and prior to that, was Professor of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering and Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Monash University.
He has been Executive Director of Monash's Centre for Machine Condition Monitoring since 1993, and is Chairman of the ISO's subcommittee on Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics of Machines. |

Dr Ron King
Research Administrator
Dr King has worked as a private consultant in research feasibility, project management, strategic research linkages and proposal development mainly in the CRC environment.
He was a Foundation Director of the Offices for Research at the University of Tasmania and at Griffith University and brings his valuable experience to CIEAM in administering the Centre’s projects, intellectual property and research management. |

Prof Neil Page
Post Graduate Coordinator
Prof Page, Emeritus Professor at the University of Newcastle, studied engineering at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a PhD in 1972. In addition to his role with CIEAM, Prof Page is an Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland and an Adjunct Professor at QUT.
His interest in tertiary education has been life-long. In his career to date, he has taught widely across the undergraduate mechanical engineering curriculum, and supervised 6 research masters and 9 PhD students. |

Kirsty Hull

Christine King has held managerial roles in human resources and
marketing in Brisbane and far north Queensland. She has a Bachelor in Leisure Management and an MBA.
Ms King provides

Kate Hack graduated from the Australian Defence Force Academy after which she served in the Royal Australian Navy as a Supply
Officer, gaining valuable financial management experience.
Since leaving the
Navy, Ms Hack has worked in a range of corporate and government finance roles, including
QUT's Australian Centre for Strategic Management. |

Ted Scott
Chairman (Independent)
Ted Scott is a Human Relations and Management Consultant and holds many directorships with a focus on regional issues.
Mr Scott was CEO of Stanwell Corporation for many years and has experience in the power generation industry with many personal achievements in industrial relations, power plant performance, innovative management practices and the use of technology. |

Prof Robin King
Prof King is Pro Vice-Chancellor, Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment at the University of South Australia.
He has international research experience in electronic and communication engineering, the impact of new technologies on organisational change, and the development of multidisciplinary education programs. |

Prof Brett Kirk
Prof Kirk is Head of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Western Australia, and is also the Leader of CIEAM's Intelligent Diagnostics and Remnant Life Prediction Research Programme.
He has been instrumental in creating research capacity and engaging with partner institutions and industry in joint ventures such as WA Energy Research Alliance. |

Peter Boettcher
Peter Boettcher is General Manager Water Supply Services at SunWater and has significant industry experience in water resource management and the bulk water supply sector.
He is responsible for the ongoing management of major water infrastructure assets including 25 major dams, over 100 weirs and several major pipeline and channel distribution systems within Queensland. |

Stephen Cantwell
Stephen Cantwell is Group General Manager, Network Access with Queensland Rail and is also an Adjunct Professor with the University of Queensland's School of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
He has significant executive experience in operations and business development, corporate strategy and planning and has managed key activities of commercial, corporatisation and organisational change. |

Prof Arun Sharma
Prof Sharma is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in Research and Commercialisation at Queensland University of Technology.
He has played a leadership role in the development of a national research capacity in information and communication technology and is a co-founder of National ICT Australia Limited (NICTA). |

Peter Dowling
Peter Dowling is a chartered accountant and a former Ernst and Young Partner. He is a Director of Monto Minerals Ltd, Credit Union Australia Limited and Paridian Property Development Fund Limited.
He is also Director of the local subsidiary of US company SPYRUS Inc., Jellinbah/Bowen Basin Coal group of companies, Virgin Blue Airlines' aircraft leasing subsidiaries and Queensland Ballet. He consults to investment bankers InterFinancial Ltd and lawyers McInnes Wilson. |

Prof Mark Jones
Mark Jones is a Professor and Head of the School of Engineering and Director of the Key Centre for Bulk Solids and Particulate Technologies at the University of Newcastle. He has worked with a number of multi-national companies in the US, Europe, South America, India, China, Russia and South Africa. He is currently Honorary Secretary of the Australian Society for Bulk Solids Handling. |

Glenn Chapman
Glenn Chapman is General Manager Asset Management & Information Systems with Rio Tinto Aluminium Limited and is also Chair of the CIEAM Research Committee. Mr Chapman has significant experience in the management of large capital intensive mining facilities, supported by a high level of engineering and information systems expertise gained during the project leadership of diverse manufacturing and heavy industrial engineering projects, along with design and implementation of business process supported by business and technical software applications. |

Jim Walker
Jim Walker is CEO of QMI Solutions Limited, an organisation recognised as the leading technology diffusion organisation in Australia. Prior to appointment with QMI Solutions, Jim worked with Boeing Australia as General Manager Network Enabled Systems (NES) Business Unit. During this time, Mr Walker also held the roles of Vigilare Program Manager and Systems Support Group Manager. Previous to this, he served in the RAAF working in satellite operations, intelligence, engineering and training. |

Assoc Prof Lin Ma
Leader, Models and Decision Systems research programme
Obtained her PhD from the University of Queensland in 1993, Associate Professor Lin Ma of Queensland University of Technology is a leading researcher in the field of integrated engineering asset management. She is the leader for Models and Decision System program at CRC for Integrated Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM). Lin leads a number of major commonwealth and industry funded projects in the field of asset management with total funding over two million dollars. She enjoys working closely with industry partners for providing scientific assistance to industrial problems.
Lin has a strong track record in research publications, grant applications and post graduate supervision as well as collaborative research with industry and fellow research institutions. She has been awarded by the Queensland Premier’s 2007 Smart State – Smart Women Award (Engineering in Public sector category) on research as well as QUT VICE-CHANCELLOR’S Award for Excellence 2007 – Research Excellence.

Prof Rhys Jones
Leader, Advanced Sensors research programme
Based at Monash University, Professor Jones is Head of the DSTO’s Centre of Expertise on Structural Mechanics. With over 200 publications and several books to his credit, Professor Jones has made significant contributions to a broad range of fields including infra-red thermography, smart structures and sensors, computational mechanics, repair technology, and optimum design. He is actively involved with Australian industry and has held positions on a range of national and international research and advisory committees. |

Prof Andy Koronios
Leader, Systems Integration and IT research programme
Professor Koronios has over 20 years experience in academia, as well as extensive experience in the commercial environment in Australia and South East Asia. He has established 2 university research labs and a funded centre, in addition to publishing 6 books, several chapters, and numerous research papers on topics such as information security, data quality, electronic commerce, multimedia, online learning systems and web requirements engineering. |

Prof Kerry Brown
Leader, Strategic Human Dimensions research programme
Professor Brown is the Director of Research in QUT’s Faculty of Business. She is an editorial board member of the International Journal of Small Business and Globalisation, Queensland editor of Public Administration Today and an executive board member of the International Research Society for Public Management. She is also Company Secretary and board member of ISEAM. Professor Brown’s research is concentrated in key human dimensions areas including change management, work-life balance, human resource management and employment relations. |
